Calibrating a robot for absolute accuracy
Absolute robot accuracy is needed when using Pickit 3D robot vision for some high-accuracy applications. Calibration can be done using a laser tracker and an SMR. By moving the robot into various positions and recording both the reported position by the robot and the laser tracker's reading of the SMR, we can make the robot even more accurate in the application workspace.
