Test if it works
This free testing service ensures that our cameras can detect and isolate your products effectively. Either Pickit3D can propose it or you can request it when there is a doubt about the ‘detectability’ of the items or products in your process. There are two ways to go about detection testing:
- You provide us with some products/items and we do a simple lab simulation where the focus is on detecting and prioritizing the products to pick;
- We set our partner’s or our own demo equipment up on site if the parts are too hard to ship.
Proof of concept
Try before you buy
Every configuration is different. With our Pickit Proof of Concept (POC) service, you can eliminate any doubts about the feasibility of your application in your specific environment.
This paid service is executed either by your P3D Vision Expert or by our Professional Services Team and/or Pre-Sales Support Engineers. During a POC we either setup a configuration as proposed in a comparable operation in our labs. There, we will analyze everything in detail so you will have a good view on pick-rate success, full cycle completion success rate, accuracy, etc… In our labs we’ll work with cobots but from their performance we can estimate industrial robot performance.
Alternatively, we can deliver the POC on-site and we’ll have to work with your internal resources and/or robot-integrator to set everything up in your test- or production cell. We provide you with a loan system, including the right camera, processor and non-production licenses. Moreover, we deliver a configuration in your test-cell enabling you to test and evaluate our solution for your most common situation. Your internal resources or the System Integrator carry out the final integration with your robot. The run-through time for a POC is anticipated to be around 4 weeks.

With our Implementation Services, we will help you correctly install, configure and calibrate our solution. These services are delivered by the Pickit professional services team, consisting of product- and solution experts concerning process automation, robotics and robot vision systems. This team will work together with the Robot Integrator.
The Implementation services involves three phases: preparation, on-site implementation and Post Go-Live and Hand-over. The implementation is considered to be successful when our solution has proven to be able to continuously execute its task with a consistent 90%+ first-pick success rate.
