A great example of a smart Pick-it application for machine loading.

  1. Pick-it detects rectangular shapes in the bin.
  2. Robot picks one of the parts detected by Pick-it.
  3. Robot places the object on a platform in the field of view of the Pick-it camera.
  4. Pick-it recognizes the individual part and its 3D position and orientation.
  5. Robot picks the part recognized by Pick-it again.
  6. Robot places the part in a gravitational slider.
  7. Robot picks the part with absolute accuracy.
  8. Robot places the part in the final drop point.
