Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior robotics software developer is a generalist robotics engineer that can develop reusable and efficient algorithms and architectures, leveraging existing libraries and open-source where possible.
Roadmap architectural changes and how they can be deployed across our codebase.
You mentor junior engineers via pairing, design review, and code review
You can work independently while being a team player with good reporting skills.
You will be part of the worldwide development team and collaborate closely with the product and support teams. You will be very well connected with all the other experts in our company, but must also be capable of solving problems independently and display lots of creativity.
You’re bringing us…
A MSc or PhD in computer science, robotics, or equivalent.
Strong background in software engineering on robotics, with at least four years of experience. Experience in 2D/3D perception is an asset.
Fluent in C++/Python and comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Knowledge of development tools like version control systems (git), unit testing frameworks, debuggers, profilers, build tools (CMake).
Good written and verbal skills in English.
