DevOps Engineer

Our developer teams works hard every day to continuously improve our software which gives eyes to robot and makes them bright. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will support these teams in creating quality product releases without headaches and ensures a better customer experience.

You will be responsible for all our internal IT infrastructure and developer tooling going from internal networks to container-based continuous integration and cloud deployment.

As a DevOps Engineer we expect from you:

  • To design and maintain our continuous integration, automated testing and deployments to guard the quality of our product

  • To design and maintain our internal IT infrastructure so it serves our operations ( both development & operational) the best

  • To design and maintain cloud based solutions for both internal usage and to enable serving our customers from the cloud

  • To document the different solutions you build so that everyone has a reference guide of the tools you created for them and onboarding of new team members is a breeze

  • To come up with realistic timings when drafting new features

  • A good balance between agility regarding development and critical mindset when it comes to testing your developments

Technical knowledge requirements:

  • Passionate about Linux technologies, you are curious to learn and share your knowledge with your colleagues

  • You are acquainted with typical DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, ...

  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, ...) is your second nature.  You love to make your life and that of the entire developer team easy by automating operational flows

  • Networking (TCP/IP, OpenVPN, … ) has no secrets for you

You will be part of the development team and work closely with the product and support team and you will be in contact with all other experts in our company, but must also be capable to solve problems independently and display lots of creativity.

The most important criteria for joining our development team are:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker and Jenkins

  • A ‘can-do’ mentality to solve development challenges

  • The ability to come up to speed in new areas quickly

  • Comfortable with joining in on technical operations discussions and love working in teams

  • Above all: Fun to be around.
